Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain words, what happens with your information when you visit this site. Last updated: October 5, 2026

This website, projecthelpingveterans.com, is run by Project X Designs LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in Spring Branch, Texas.

The short version

  • You do not need an account, and you never have to give us your name, email, or any personal details to use this site or the Veteran Resource Guide.
  • We do not sell your information.
  • We do not run advertising or marketing trackers on this site.

What we collect

We do not ask for or collect personal information through this website. There are no sign-up forms, no accounts, and no comment sections.

Like almost every website, the company that hosts it may automatically keep basic technical records, such as your internet address, the type of browser you use, and the pages you visit. These records are used to keep the site running and secure.

Things saved on your own device

The Veteran Resource Guide may save simple settings or preferences in your own web browser so the guide works the way you left it. This stays on your device. We do not receive it, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Visit counter

The Veteran Resource Guide keeps a running total of how many times it has been opened. That total is only a number. To avoid counting the same person over and over, the site briefly uses a scrambled code made from your internet address and browser type. The code cannot be turned back into either one, it is not used for anything else, and it is deleted automatically after about 12 hours.

Fonts from Google

To show our text in the right style, this site loads fonts from Google. When your browser loads them, Google may receive basic technical information such as your internet address. Google’s own privacy policy explains how it handles that information.

Links to other websites

The guide and this site link to outside websites, such as the VA, other government agencies, and businesses that offer veteran discounts. When you click one, you leave our site. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

Phone numbers and calling

When you tap a phone number, such as the Veterans Crisis Line (988, then press 1), your phone places the call directly. We do not see or record who calls.

Not an official government site

Project X Designs LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency. The guide is general information only. The agency behind each program decides who qualifies.

Children

This site is meant for veterans, their families, and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
